Welcome to the start of an amazing new school year! Although we start the year via remote learning, please know that we have been working diligently to
ensure that all students receive a high quality learning experience! The first day of school and virtual learning is Tuesday, September 8th .
It’s our goal to provide students with remote learning opportunities that close the gap due to instructional loss. We will provide students with routines and
structures to help stay engaged in standards aligned content, as well as provide them with supports that meet students’ individual academic and social
emotional needs. Together we can make this school year a success!

Getting Started with Remote Learning

● Students are REQUIRED to log into Google Meets daily using CPS Gmail Accounts only in order to be marked in attendance. CPS Email Account

Google Classroom Participation Expectations

● Attendance is REQUIRED, not just submission of work. All work must be submitted via Google Classroom for grading.
● Students are required to participate in synchronous learning, teacher led instruction and complete asynchronous learning/independent assignments.
● Regular grades will be given instead of pass/fail.
● Mics must be muted while teachers are talking/unmute for discussion or when prompted.
● Dress Attire: Students are to be fully dressed/covered and out of bed.
● A quiet work place is needed. Inappropriate language, content and/or behavior will not be tolerated. Adhere to CPS Student Code of Conduct
