The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects an overspeed condition. Information on default settings and ranges for this event can be found in
troubleshooting with an event code Troubleshooting, "Event Codes".

E362-(3) (Shutdown)
Troubleshooting:
• The operator may be operating the machine incorrectly. Determine the events that caused the overspeed of the engine. Avoid sudden drops in
load from the engine.
• There may be a combustible atmosphere. Check for hydrocarbons in the surrounding atmosphere. Do not operate the engine in an environment
with hydrocarbons in the surrounding atmosphere.
