Key learnings

 Leaders need to be imparted sensitization programme who may in turn


sensitize the employees about issues like sexual harassment at workplace

 Instructional strategy is a combination and mix of different elements of


training program in a form of training modules that are provided to individual
participants, timing, methods and materials used to achieve the objectives
of training programme.

 Case analysis / experiential exercises are one of the best way that can help
trainees to memorise the facts, details and possibilities

 Trainee’s Resources are one of the most important tool of learning, it should
be designed very cautiously by ensuring that all material fact of relevant
nature could be traced by the trainees at the right time.

 Pre and Post tests can be devised to test the effectiveness of the training
programme.

 The trainees need to impart knowledge on four stages of negotiation –


planning, debate, propose , and bargain while dealing with negotiation having
covid impact

 The concept of BATNA ( Best alternative to a negotiated agreement ) and


WATNA ( worst alternative to a negotiated agreement ) provides negotiating
power and determines your reservation point.

 The evaluation of the training programme involves – Reaction( overall


feedback received ), learning (trainer assessing and providing inputs ),
Behaviour( based on behaviours metrics) and Results( meeting with trainer to
discuss and measure performance graph )
 Organizations have multiple objectives for the orientation program, major
being making employees aware of the business, organisational structure,
process and functions and culture.

 HR and line managers both should be involved in the process of designing


the orientation program

 Orientation Program should be inclusive, flexible and designed as a


process and not as an event

 Program should be made relevant, interesting and exciting for the


employees to engage them through team building activities and ice breaking
sessions.

 Group orientation is the most popular method of imparting orientation for


bulk hires.
