Topic: Promoting Good Parenting in Child Development

Purpose: to raise fully functional adults by promoting emotional as well as physical health that involves setting
and enforcing boundaries to ensure children’s and others’ safety, in ever widening areas of activity and
optimizing children’s potential and maximizing the opportunities for using it.

Goal: After four (4) hours of lecture and demonstration on good parenting in child development, the
participants will be able to gain more knowledge on Erik Erikson’s eight stages of psychosocial development,
identify the needs of child to achieve optimal growth and development and apply good parenting by teaching
discipline and good moral values on the child.
