MALCO PRODUCTS INC DEVELOPS NEW DISINFECTANT LINE

EXPANDED PRODUCTION CREATES EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
IN BARBERTON, AKRON AND ALLIANCE LOCATIONS

Barberton, OH—Malco Products, Inc. is investing $1.5 million in manufacturing equipment to

produce and market disinfectant wipe products for consumers as part of a new disinfectant line
that will also include aerosols and spray products. In preparation for the new production, the
company is looking to expand its workforce by 30 employees at its Barberton, Akron and
Alliance, Ohio manufacturing locations.

With its newly received formulator status from Stepan Company, which offers regulatory-
agency approved disinfectant formulations, Malco will be able to blend, package, register and
sell disinfectants to retailers nationwide, starting in January 2020. Malco plans to manufacture
up to seven million canisters of disinfectant wipes per year.

The disinfectant line will add to Malco’s existing portfolio of automotive cleaning and detailing
products for car care professionals, which are sold through a worldwide network of
independent distributors.
