HOW WELL

DO YOU KNOW

YOUR DAD?
A 10-day challenge
for kids of all ages.

manhoodjourney.org
LET THE CHALLENGE BEGIN!
How would you like to give your child (or children) a simple, easy-to-use tool that will
help you both connect like never before? You’re holding just that tool. This challenge will
be easy, fun, and allow you to build some bridges with your son or daughter.

Whether you actually take the full ten days the way we designed this — or your child
goes rogue and asks you all the questions in a ten-minute blitz – our hope is two-fold:

You intentionally disconnect from the news and all that’s going on in the
#1 crazy world outside of your home.

You mindfully connect with your child in a meaningful and transparent way.
#2 Maybe for the first time in a long time!
If we can serve you in any other way, here’s a snapshot of our two
main online locations:

Want to disciple your sons more intentionally? Manhood Journey

On the next page, I’ll give you some quick steps you can take to get the most out of this
experience with your child.

We hope this is a huge blessing!

DAD,
Here are four easy steps to getting the most out of this challenge:

Step 1: PRINT THIS DOCUMENT

Print this bad boy out. We intentionally designed this to not burn a ton of your printer
ink. I mean, if you’re all cool and stuff, you can try AirDropping this to your child’s iPad.
Whatever.

Step 2: GIVE FOLLOWING PAGES TO YOUR CHILD

The following pages provide your child guidance and some fill-em-out pages he or she
can use during the interrogation! If you’re brave, don’t read ahead. Let the questions
surprise you.

Step 3: INVITE YOUR CHILD TO THE CHALLENGE

Maybe you’ll say something like, “Hey Billy (unless your child’s name is Sarah…anyway),
let’s see how well you know me. I found this ten-day challenge online. Fire these
questions at me!” Or, you can just hand the pages to your child and stare at them
blankly. That’d be interesting.

Step 4: HAVE SOME FUN and BE OPEN

Your child may never voluntarily ask you these questions. But, they’ll (eventually) enjoy
knowing some of these answers. Have a good time with it. And, don’t be afraid to share
the tough or challenging parts with them, age depending, of course.

YOU GOT THIS, DAD!

HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW

YOUR DAD?
A 10-DAY CHALLENGE FOR KIDS OF ALL AGES.
HOW WELL DO YOU
KNOW YOUR DAD?

You might be surprised to know this, but

your dad wasn’t always OLD!

He had a thing called a “childhood” and other stuff like dreams, ideas and plans.

Plus, he probably made some huge mistakes along the way! Wouldn’t you
like to find out?

Why not take ten days – or ten minutes – and throw a bunch of
questions at him? It might be fun, and we guarantee you’ll
learn something. Like, you’ll probably learn what NOT to
do in some areas!

WOOO-HOO! YOU DID IT!

You got to know your Dad like never before. Hopefully, you
both had a little fun along the way.

Now, both you and your dad should fill out the certificate on the next page. Maybe you
can hang it somewhere in your house as a reminder of all you learned together?

I’m proud of you for taking and finishing this challenge!
