Study of Strength of RC Shear Wall at Different Locations on Multi-storeyed Building

The project was concerned with determining the solution for shear wall location in multi-storey
building. A RCC building of six storey placed in Hyderabad subjected to earthquake loading in
zone-II is considered. An earthquake load is calculated by seismic coefficient method using IS 1893
(PART–I):2002. The research is being published in: Int. Journal of Engineering Research and

Analysis of Helix Concrete Finite Element Approach (Using Msc Nastran Patron)
The project was concerned with employment of Helix fibers to concrete mix for elimination or
minimizing of wire meshes and/or rebars thus providing a smart, economical way to replace the
conventional reinforced cement concrete.
