A. What to do?

Record a video expressing to what extend you agree or disagree with Dan Pink’s
view on motivation using the present perfect, phrasal verbs, and other functions
practiced in this learning activity.

B. How to do it?

necessary and take notes. If there is any word you don’t understand, go to
www.wordreference.com and look it up.

2. Read your notes, decide if you agree or disagree with his position, and record a
video expressing your opinion.

Sample

I don’t agree with his opinion. I have had many different jobs in my life and
the most important factor has always been money. For money, people get up
earlier, work out harder, and are able to do the impossible. You need money
if you want to take care of your family. When I am looking for a job, I always
think about the salary first. I have had many different jobs where the pay has
been good and the work has been repetitive and monotonous. This is not a
problem for me. I am good at learning anything. I just need the right
incentive. In my case, this incentive is money.

Hi everyone!
I’m Catalina and I’m twenty
-five years old. This year has been really important for meand my life for
several reasons. First, I graduated from University in January. I becamean
engineer. Then, in February, I started to work for a multinational company in
thefield on applied electronics. That was only a month after my graduation and
I was very
happy. Because of my job, I have traveled to many cities in Colombia. I’ve
been to
Medellin, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Pereira and Valledupar, among others.
In
addition, I’m going to visit a few cities abroad in November, which is gr
eat because
haven’t been anywhere outside Colombia
yet.So far, in the company I have met several people. Many of them are
colleagues who
are more experienced than me. I’ve learned a lot from all of them. I hope to
continue
working here for many more years. Apart from the professional, this year has
also been good in some personal aspects.I met someone really special. His
name is Mauricio. We have dated for a few monthsand I think our relationship
is going to become stronger. Right now we are planningto take a vacation
together in Santa Marta by December or January. So far, we havehad a great
time together.Well! That has been all for me this year. I hope more things
happen before the yearends.
