REFLECTI
ON (Jesus as
a Teen)

As amplified by Ellen White in her book “The Desire of Ages” in chapter entitled
“Days of Conflict” the description of Jesus, the author highlighted five interesting
descriptions about Jesus. They are the following:
1) Independence based on the Principle.
2) Desire to Serve Others.
3) Independence Brings Opposition.
4) Jesus was Inclusive.
5) Jesus’ Source of Strength.

1.) Independence based on the Principle.

Jesus did not attend any religious teachings, but his mind is better than the
Rabbi’s or the teacher’s teachings. When Jesus disobeys a rule from the Rabbi,
He always refer His answer to the Holy Scriptures or the Bible.

2.) Desire to Serve Others.

Jesus is very different and unique His work on Earth is to save us from our sins. When
He’s still a boy He already knows that time will come that He will die and that’s why
Jesus needs to spread the Word of God to the World so that everybody can hear the
Gospel or the Good Work. Jesus always helps people who needed His help all you need
to do is Believe in Him and He can do miracles happens.

3.) Independence Brings Opposition.

Jesus teachings about the truth was found out by the Religious Leaders and accused Him
as the Fake Messiah because the religious leaders know that the Messiah will be born as a
king and not like Jesus. But then Jesus remain good to those who disagree with Him
that’s the kindness of Jesus.

4.) Jesus was Inclusive.

Jesus is always open to everybody who needed His help, sometimes he doesn’t eat food
and give it to people who have nothing to eat. He treated all person the same kindness,
helpful, and many more. If we open our hearts and mind to God, he will open a door for
us the door that when you open, He is there being open to you.

5.) Jesus’ Source of Strength.

The source of our strength is our Faith in God because when we have Faith in Him, we
can overcome difficulties, circumstances, and problems in life. Jesus represent as God’s
living representation of Humans flesh. With God we can do everything possible if we
have faith in Him.
