Hydrometeorology can aid to developed in response to pressing demands for information related to
rainfall statistics for use in the safe and economical design, production and projects. Describes
hydrological cycle and its processes. Estimate runoff and explain the effect of land use on rainfall-runoff
relationships. And it also differentiate weather, climate and microclimate and especially it explains the
importance the weather forecasting that covered by Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers. The
relevance of this subject to the mission and vision of the university is that, it will provide the appropriate
results of important hydrometeorological studies for the benefit of the University’s research, production and
economic development.
