Subject: Goodbye letter for colleagues

Dear colleagues

With a heavy heart, I am addressing this letter to all of you. Due to personal
reasons, I have decided to leave the organization and shift to a new country. As this
decision was made quickly I was unable to talk to all of you personally so that’s
why I’m writing this letter. I have worked here for a very long time and it will very
hard for me to leave this organization, but most importantly it will be hard for me
to leave a place with all of my friends.

I will cherish all the memories I have made and the years that have gone by. I
apologize if my bad behavior at times hurt anyone. This was never intended to hurt
anyone personally but it was due to professional reasons. Due to reasons of my
own, I am now retiring from my post, but I know that the company is in perfectly
capable hands. I wish that this company will achieve more success than ever.
I have learned a lot from all of you my friends, and it was a fantastic experience to
have worked with you all. I hope that our friendship lasts forever. I now take
goodbye and wish you the very best for the future. I am leaving my contact details.
