Marketing research is the systematic and objective search and analysis of information
relevant to identifying and solving any marketing problem. Research in marketing aims to set its
task in a systematic and objective manner. This means that a detailed and carefully designed
research plan is developed which specifies each stage of the research.
The role of Marketing Research in my life as a student has many importance. It is not
just a subject but a learning that we must take focus on it because it is essential especially when
we will be providing or starting our own business.
Marketing Research for me has an important role as a student because here, we will be
learning and knowing all the things running inside the business or an organization. It is very
important that we must focus on this step because marketing research will help us find out if
our future business will earn or we will just lost.
In this matter or subject, we will not just learn about products or business but also we
will be discussing all the kinds of consumer or prospects, Collecting data on consumers,
competitors and market place and consolidating information into actionable items, reports and
presentations, Understanding business objectives and designing surveys to discover prospective
customers’ preferences, Compiling and analyzing statistical data using modern and traditional
methods to collect it that we must study so that we can have a success finish.
