Stone Wall - Mesh
For the mesh I use 3ds Max & Zbrush. You can incorporate the workflow concept to other softwares as well.

To start off i quickly block out the mesh for the silhouettes. I try to keep the meshflow consistent throughout the
asset.
Since I am using a tileable texture I did a quick UV unwrap making sure to eliminate as much stretching as possible.

Next I subdivided the mesh like crazy.

I used Turbosmooth in 3ds max.

Stone Wall - Mesh
3ds Max has this really cool Modifier called Displace. I added this to the stack and plugged in the height from the
material.

You can do this in Zbrush as well. I did this in 3ds Max because I was constantly tweaking the Uvs to get a good
placement for the Ferns.

I also noticed that for the best result you can blur the height map a bit. This would eliminate the tiny polygons
poking out.

Next I mirrored the mesh to the other side. I moved the Uvs of the other side before displacing.

I find the stacking option of 3ds Max really helpful in this section because you can always go back to the initial mesh
and do changes and it will propagate to the rest (most of the time).
Stone Wall - Mesh
I export both the sides to Zbrush and use the Move brush to quickly push the mesh and hide the intersections.

Next I use Decimation Master with the Keep Uvs option enabled to get a quick low poly. Tweak the % of
decimation to get the desired Low poly.
Stone Wall - Mesh
Next I take the decimated mesh back to 3ds Max and remove as many hidden polys as possible.

Yaaay now we have a quick Low poly to use!.

Note: After the Zbrush section you can go through the long route and create a Proper Low poly, Uvs and bake your
map like you would for any other asset, but where is the fun in that. We created this asset in less then 30 minutes!.

Next i made a quick grass mesh from the texture. Nothing fancy
Stone Wall - Mesh
I used a simple plane for the ground with an alpha mask. The grass placement was done inside Marmoset Toolbag
itself.

I used the exact same settings as the Stone Wall Material final render for this. The following is the result.
That’s it!
With that the tutorial is finally done! I had lot of fun working on this. 
