Brady Safety Padlocks

The Brady Safety Padlock is a safer alternative to metal locks. The body is
nonconductive, and the unique key chamber prevents an electrical charge
from traveling from the shackle to the key , protecting workers from shock.
Compact and lightweight, the Safety Padlock is constructed of reinforced
nylon for superior chemical, corrosion, and temperature resistance.
The Brady Safety Padlock complies with all applicable OSHA
lockout requirements.

Brady Outlasts Competitor in Corrosion Test

The Brady Safety Padlock and the leading competitor ’s equivalent
padlock underwent salt water spray tests in order to evaluate the
corrosion resistance provided by each brand.
While all padlocks are subject to rust over time, the Brady Safety
Padlock showed only slight corrosion along the shackle after being
repeatedly sprayed with salt water over the 168-hour test period.
The competitor’s padlocks, however, exhibited clearly visible
corrosion after only 24 hours, and extensive rusting along the
shackle and inside the lock body after 168 hours of testing.
The test results couldn’t be clearer – the Brady Safety
Padlock is superior to the competitive padlock
in resisting rust and corrosion.
