 The Shield Review Center started to embed its humble beginnings in 2007. It was introduced
then in Naga City as Shield Review Center for Nurses. As it Envisions in becoming a top-notch

III. Reflection

Through the interview we have learned that in forming a plan for a business it does not
mean that you should follow every single step or process suggested in creating your plan. A
businessman should also value his personal perceptions and his own creativity on running a
business. One must apply his experiences and way of operations that he knew would be effective
in various situations. In choosing the type of business to break into, considering the trend and
environment of the business will have a great impact on its success. For instance, thousands of
students from different courses are graduating each year and are aiming to pass board or
licensure exams in their respective fields such as in medicine or education that are finding an
efficient way to review or study, so it is smart to attempt this kind of business.

It is also important to monitor the strengths and weaknesses of the business especially in
its first few years to make a good impression. Hiring competitive teachers who have skills and
expertise to assist the students in reviewing. Using and experimenting on various teaching
techniques also helps in finding what is effective and what is not. This can have an impact in
building the trust of customers and ensuring you spot in the competitive market. In the financial
state of the business it is usually hard to start with limited capital, material and human resources,
which is commonly one of the major concerns of new entrepreneurs nowadays, but we have
realized that even so the most important thing is that you know how to successfully manage the
expenses and income of the business, such as having an accounting system to record the cash
flows and transactions that is happening. It is also necessary to set a price that will be fair and not
too heavy both on the business and its consumers. It is also important to know how to meet the
satisfaction of your customers that they will surely guarantee to the products and services you
offered.
