BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

With the rapid increase in the development of E-learning and telework in the
Philippines, the increased demand for comfortable and well-matched laptop tables are
projected. At present, we are under modification of shifting to remote learning and
telecommuting due to the unfortunate occurrence of the pandemic. In fact, there are
millions of Filipinos who are having their education and work disrupted by the spread of
the virus. The changing era of forced technology-delivered instruction has affected
Filipinos that risen the dependence on digital platforms. There are, however, challenges
to overcome. Some learners and employees without reliable Internet access and/or
technology struggle to partake their contribution in digital learning and online jobs; this
gap is comprehended across countries. 

As entirely online pedagogy continues, the new hybrid model of education and
employment has emerged with the need of accessories that will help in having a
workspace in one’s own home. Artesanía offers innovative, modern and multi functional
furniture in accordance to the changing lifestyle of the people. We managed to advance
and adjust as people use computers and laptops more and more in their daily workdays.
By using conventional and modern marketing and sales techniques, Artesanía will
establish an unyielding confined local customer base in the home office, small business,
and large business communities. Our product will be mainly from local manufacturers,
emphasizing the forte and high design sense of area businesses and craftspeople.

BUSINESS NAME

The business name, Artesanía, is a Spanish term for crafts. It highlights the
artistry and the timeless magnificence of wood made furniture and we believe on the
scheme of practical elegance. We are committed to provide the best and yet affordable
product to our customers. We are not only focused on offering quality furniture but also
in creating an atmosphere of trust amongst our clients and us.
