DISCUSSION ON UTILITES:
The following points are discussed and concluded.
Steam: ZEN
Steam requirement for Proposed project [3A & 3R blocks], decided to consider as 2500
kg/Hr.
The present boiler can cater this requirement.
Present 150 Nb header can also cater the distribution requirement.

Cooling Towers: ZEN

It is decided to have 3 cooling towers for 3A / 3R / Utility blocks.
Since the requirement of all are coming near to each other, it is decided to have all three
cooling towers capacity as 300 m3/Hr.
The location of 3A block cooling tower on terrace of the same block
The location of 3R block cooling tower on terrace of the same block
The location of utility block cooling tower decided as new structure within the same foot
print area. The detailing to be done for the same
Chilled water: ZEN
The consumption is discussed and further decided 200TR as the required chilled water plant
capacity. The location of the chilled water plant will be inside the utility block
Chilled Brine: ZEN
The consumption is discussed and further decided 85TR as the required chilling brine plant
capacity. The location of the chilled brine plant will be inside the utility block
Nitrogen: ZEN
The consumption is arrived as 100 Nm3/Hr for 3A and 3R blocks.
However, there are other requirements in the existing plant, we have decided to add
another 50Nm3/Hr additional capacity.
The total nitrogen plant capacity to be considered is 150Nm3/Hr. air compressor required
for nitrogen generation to be purchased along with nitrogen plant.

Compressed Air: ZEN

Compressed air requirement for 3A & 3 R block is 25 CFM. This requirement will be cater
from existing 160 CFM compressor.
