56 MODIFICATION IN THE METHOD FOR REMOVING THE HEADLAMP UNITS

• Engine : XXX
• Gearbox : XXX Basic manual : M.R. 312

To avoid having to remove the bumper when replacing a headlamp unit, a modification has been made to
the fitting brackets.

Two cut-out sections have been made in each of the metal brackets (two brackets per headlamp unit). This
will enable the headlamp units to be removed without having to remove the fitting brackets which will re-
main attached to the cross member.

The method for removing the headlamp units described in Workshop Repair Manual M.R. 312, has now been
modified from the section entitled "removing the radiator grille half-grille sections" onwards.

The repair methods given by the manufacturer in this document are based on the All copyrights reserved by Renault S.A.
