PROBLEM
Some of the 400 Series sets that have a LCP1002 Control Panel fitted could potentially
have the incorrect PCB fitted.
The PCB used on the 1100 series product is identical but has been programmed with
different software. The PCB for 1100 series generator sets has a higher engine temperature
point, this means that 400 series sets incorrectly fitted with an 1100 PCB cannot reach the
high engine temp point and therefore there is no protection against high engine
temperature.
The 1100 Series 1002T PCB has 349-0638 etched onto the board and should only be fitted
to 1100 series panels.
The 400 Series LCP1002 PCB also has 349-0638 etched onto the board but also has a
sticker (382-2961) on it to distinguish from the 1100 Board.
