POWER OUTAGES CAUSE DOWNTIME

An affinity diagram is an organized output from a brainstorming session. This is one of

the most successful tools that are used by the management in planning. Zelda Production

Company used the affinity diagram in generating, organizing and consolidating information

concerning the power outages and how it causes the downtime. It started by coming up with the

issue that was affecting the company then later doing a brainstorming session where the team

was trying to create a way out (Brazelton, & Lyons, 2016). It started by creating ideas,

displaying them for everybody to see and review, then sorting the ideas together into columns,

grouping them using a clear heading and lastly drawing an illustration that represents. Downtime

which occurred as a result of power outage brought about huge losses affecting both the bottom-

line and affects the ongoing operations (Li, 2016).

Downtime which occurred as a result of power outage brought about huge losses

affecting both the bottom-line and affects the ongoing operations (Feng, et al., 2017). The

company has been having a lot of problems which are related to power outages. With the

brainstorming session, the company can now understand the effects of all departments that the

company suffers. The company relies on networks and web-based technologies which brings

setbacks in the events there is an occurrence of a power outage.
