COMPROMISE AGREEMENT

      This Agreement executed this 16th day of June 2020 at DENR CENRO-
Cabagan, Cabagan, Isabela, by and between:

   
REYNIDA T. SARMIENTO, Filipino, married, of legal age with address
at Masipi East, Cabagan, Isabela, (hereinafter referred to as “protestant”);

VISITACION C. RAMBAC, Filipino, of legal age, widow of Alfredo

Rambac Jr. with address at Guinatan, Ilagan City, Isabela, (hereinafter referred
to as “the respondent-heir”);
-AND-

CORNELIO C. OSSAO, Filipino, of legal age, married. with address at

Masipi East, Cabagan, Isabela and JUN P. DIAMSAY, Filipino, of legal age,
married with address at Ugad, Cabagan, Isabela, (both referred to as
“intervenors”).

WITNESSETH:  That -

      WHEREAS, the protestant and defendant Alfredo M. Rambac Jr. now

represented by his spouse, VISITACION C. RAMBAC, are involved in a land
dispute case pending for preliminary investigation before the DENR Regional
Office No. 2 over Lot 146, Gss 1140 located at Masipi East, Cabagan, Isabela;

WHEREAS, both intervenors have also interests over the

aforementioned lot because of their respective possession and occupation over
portions thereon. In particular, intervenor CORNELIO C. OSSAO bought one (1)
hectare portion of the aforementioned lot from protestant, REYNIDA T.
SARMIENTO while intervenor JUN P. DIAMSAY is in possession of a four
thousand (4, 000) square meters, more or less portion;

       WHEREAS, the parties desire to buy peace and wish to avoid a protracted
litigation in this case.

     NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and the further

covenants hereinafter set forth, the parties agree as follows:

      1.  By virtue of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) proceeding

conducted by the undersigned hearing officer, Atty. John Mark N. Paracad, the
protestant willingly and voluntarily withdraws her protest against the respondent
subject to the following:

AGREEMENT TO BUY RESPECTIVE AREA FROM SURVEY

CLAIMANT ALFREDO RAMBAC JR.

a. Intervenor CORNELIO C. OSSA shall buy his actual occupation and

possession of 1 hectare from respondent in the amount of Forty Thousand
 Pesos (P40, 000.00) Philippine Currency which shall paid and made in two
installments following the cropping season, although the former is not
prohibited from paying the latter in advance for the full amount on or
before the said cropping seasons;

b. Intervenor JUN DIAMSAY shall likewise buy his actual occupation and
possession of 4, 000 square meters, more or less, from respondent in the
amount of Twenty Thousand Pesos (P20, 000.00) Philippine Currency
which shall paid and made in two installments following the cropping
season, although the former is not prohibited from paying the latter in
advance for the full amount on or before the said cropping seasons;

c. The respondent shall respect the rights of the said intervenors and shall
execute necessary documents for the titling process of the respective area of
the latter. The titling of these areas shall depend on its legal possibility (lot
is classified as alienable and disposable);

     2. The signatories to this Agreement hereby represent and warrant that they
are duly authorized to execute this Agreement.

      3. The parties or their assigns hereby waive, renounce and forever quitclaim
all their respective claims and counterclaims subject of the instant action as well
as those that may arise therefrom, in connection therewith or in relation thereto.

      4. The foregoing covenants are not contrary to law, morals, or public policy
and the parties bind themselves to comply strictly with their undertakings.
