LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND SEMINAR

Objective/s:

1. To enhance the leadership skills of Accountancy students amidst the adversity of becoming a
leader during this pandemic.
2. To motivate student leaders towards becoming innovative and resourceful in the era of New
Normal.
3. To push student leaders beyond their limitations and discover more facets of NFJPIA.
4. To remind the Local Chapter officers and members that they can make a difference with
teamwork and good leadership.

Topic/s:

1. Steps towards becoming a Good Student-Leader


2. JPIA: Haven for Future Leaders / Guidance for a successful Federation
3. Life in the Industry: JPIA as Training Grounds for CPAs

Plan/s:

1. Platform: Zoom/Ed Modo/ Google Meet


2. Speakers: 3 Individuals ( PACSA Representative, NFJPIA Officer, CPA in the Indsutry)
3. Certificates will be taken care of by the VPComms.
4. Letters of Invitation to the speakers and LCs must be sent ASAP. Letters shold be made by the
SecGen.
5. There will be a forum for every speaker and this will be an hour and a half long/ topic. The forum
will be an avenue to raise questions.
6. Estimated Participants: 15-25 per Local Chapter.
7. The Registration for this event will be planned. The means of collecting the fee can be through
Remittance Centers, Gcash, or any means available.
8. Estimated Budget: Every Speaker will be given an Honorariumof P1,500 each.
9. The RVPmembership will help in the registration of participants. ( Name, Email, Contact Details)
10. Online advertising and Infographs will be taken care of by the VPGraphPub.
11. The link of the Webinar via Online platform will be sent through SMS and Email.
12. The plaque/certificate for the Speakers will be prepared.

CPA TALK 2020

Objective/s:

1. To be a platform for Career Guidance.


2. To motivate and inspire JPIANs towards becoming a CPA in the future.
3. To share experiences, strategies, and stories that will spark the inner passion of every
Accountancy Student.
4. To have an idea of the workplace and opportunities of being a CPA.
5. To create an image for all JPIANS about the CPALE and how to pass it.

Topics:
1. CPA Journey: Key Strategies to Survive the Program
2. The CPALE: Dos and Donts during Review
3. The Road of Three Letters: The Rain and Sunshine of an Accounting Student
4. It could be anything since its like a PepTalk, (if we can invite a CPA in the Academe: Pressures
and Relevance in the Academe)

2. This will be a Two-Day Event (2 Speakers/ Day)
3. Speakers: 4 Individuals ( CPAs in different Industries, School)
4. Certificates will be taken care of by the VPComms.

1. Platform: Zoom/Ed Modo/ Google Meet


2. This will be a Two-Day Event (2 Speakers/ Day)
3. Speakers: 4 Individuals (CPAs in the Academe)
4. Certificates will be taken care of by the VPComms.
5. Letters of Invitation to the speakers and LCs must be sent ASAP. Letters should be made ready
by the SecGen.
6. There will be a forum for every speaker and this will be a 1.5 Hour/ topic. The forum will be an
avenue to raise questions.
7. Participants will be given a chance to be asked and the correct answer picked by the speaker will
be given a prize. (Eload, if there are sponsors: Handouts, Reviewers*)
