Activity 1: LIFE AND WORKS OF RIZAL 08/28/2020

1. What are the qualities and traits of Jose Rizal being called heroes? Least down at least 3
and explain your answer.

a. Open-minded: He really wanted to have a freedom of Filipinos from other countries.

b. Intelligent: He is a smart because he knew how to work many jobs and mastered different
languages.

c. Hardworking: He tried to accomplish all the works and always helped other people who
needed help.

2. According to the various Philippine presidents, the overseas Filipino workers (OFW’s)
are the present day heroes? Are they worthy of being called heroes? Justify your answers.

They are worthy of being called heroes but they only heroes for their families they worked
for. They only work hard for their families to have a better life. But like Jose iRizal and other
heroes, they are the true heroes because they served our country to become a good country
and to protect it.

3. Paste a picture whom you consider a hero/s? Explain.

She is my mother named Ma. Lourdes Tayag. I consider her as my hero because despite of
difficulty in life, she didn't left us. Even though we have low budget in money, she tried to
maintain our studies and made us graduated from high school. And up to present she tried to
pursue our dreams to become a better in life.
