Student’s Guidelines for Continuing Academics in the Next Semester / Year

1. As per the UGC guidelines on Examinations and Academic Calendar dated 29 th April
2020 and the State Government Guidelines for Examination dates 24th May 2020,
Swarnim Startup & Innovation University have implemented a scheme of “Carry
Forward” this Academic year taking into consideration the COVID-19 pandemic
situation as per mentioned guidelines.

2. As per the Carry Forward scheme, every student will be allowed to continue academics in
next semester / year.

3. If the student have failed in any of the subjects in current semester / year examination, the
student will be allowed to continue academics in next semester / year but will have to
clear the same in next upcoming university examinations as per the academic calendar.

4. This will be applicable to the students of the batch of Academic Year 2017-2018 and
Academic Year 2018-2019. All the students will promoted to semester 5th and semester
7th respectively.

5. The Carry Forward scheme is applicable ONLY for this Academic Year examinations.
From next Academic Session, the Rules, Regulations of Pass, Promotion and Detention
will be implemented as per the University guidelines.
