Electronics and Communication Student’s Organisation (ECO), is organising an ONLINE event,

on the occasion of Independence Day on August 15, 2020. Celebrate this Independence Day
with ECO, by registering and participating in various events.

1) Target audience​ - Preferably EC students of 3rd and 5th semester

2) Platform​ - Online using WhatsApp and Instagram
3) Duration​ : 2hrs( Tentatively)
4) Number of team members​ - 3-4
5) Description​ - This is an online treasure hunt based on the theme of Independence Day
which will be conducted on Whatsapp. Participants in a team will be given a map and a
QRcode. In general, as a short description,it can be said that they will have to answer
the first question to the person in that pdf and then they will have one more question and
so on.
Going in more detail of the event : The groups will be divided into different sets and each
set will get the first QR code for clues from the Instagram story. Each clue will contain a
problem based on basic Electrical and Electronics concepts, which will provide the
coordinates of location marked on the given ‘Map of India’. The clue will also contain the
name of volunteer and his/her contact no. The team will have to send the clue location to
the volunteer, if it would be correct, the volunteer will ask a question and send a PDF.
The answer to the question asked will be the password of the next PDF. The last clue for
each set will be pointing to the same location and the same volunteer.

6) Requirements ​: (at Least one member of Group ) Participants will require the stable
Internet Connection and need to have Whats app and Instagram installed.
Must Follow ECO on instagram (@team.eco.2020) for Clue and details.
Must have a pdf reader and QR code scanner in their devices.

7) ​ Rules :

1. Internet surfing is strictly prohibited until and unless instructed. (The Internet can only be used
as a network to go to links scanned from QR code).
3. Event’s start time will be strictly followed. So, a request to all to be online on time.

4. If there is a need for Hint, by any team, then 5 minutes will be added to the total time taken.

5. Next clue will be given only when all team members are online together.

6. In case of any problem or breaking of rules, the final decision will be taken by the organisers.

7. Participants should not try to access QR code which is not their team.
