Isac: Well, I’m fine too. Tell me What are you doing in this quarantine?
James: I am reading books and listening to music in my room, because the people are kept in
your houses by the pandemic.
Isac: Really? Me too. I’ve heard the news and a journalist said that is good doing something to
relax. Who is your favourite writer?
James: Yes, I was in the theatre, When I arrived at my house, I had just heard the news on the
radio. I was scared. Well, my favourite writer is Julio Ramon Ribeyro, I love his books. How
about you?
Isac: In my case I like Isabel Allende she is such a fantastic writer. I used to read other authors
but when I know Isabel Allende I had found the best writer in the world.
James: How about classic novels, I read Oedipus the King. I love it. Do you like read classic
novels?
Isac: Yes, I do, I really love novels. It’s such amazing books. I like a book called The Odyssey.
If I had the time, I would re-read it right now. Have you read The Fall of the House of Usher of
Edgar Allan Poe?
James: Yes, I have. In fact, it’s a such fantastic book. I think if I wrote a novel, I would make a
lot of money. Why do you read the Allan Poe’s books?
Isac: I read him to relax me. I didn’t use to enjoy his books when I was a child, but now I love
his books. Did you used to read stories when you were a child?
James: Yes, I did. I used to get very excited, but I didn’t use to enjoy reading Allan Poe because
I was really afraid. Well, I have to go. it’s been nice talking to you.
