Touch of history
Villa Lante at Bagnaia is
near Viterbo, central Italy

Designed by Giacomo
Barozzi da Vignola, from
1566, ending at the end of
the sixteenth century.

It did not become known

until the villa was passed to
Ippolito Lante Montefeltro
della Rovere, in the 17th
century, when it was
already 100 years old
Organized around a large axial axis, the garden of the Villa Lante responds to
the characteristics of the Renaissance garden "to the Italian":
The main novelty in Villa
Lante is that the palace is
not made up of a single
section but is divided into
four section. In addition to
two buildings arranged on
the sides of the central
axis on the first terrace.
