Dotty Bingo: Objective
Grade Preschool
Dotty Bingo
Subject Math
Supplies:
• Dotty Bingo activity sheet 1 & 2
• Scissors
• Glue
Activity:
1. Make copies of the activity sheets for each child.
2. Read the story ‘Mouse Count’ by Ellen Stoll Walsh to review the numbers from 1 – 10.
4. Have the students cut out the squares on Activity sheet 2 and glue them onto the
squares in Activity sheet 1 in any order.
5. Play a simple version of Bingo by calling out the numbers from 1 – 9 in any order. As you
call out the numbers, write them down on a sheet of paper in the same order.
6. As the numbers are called out, have the students cross out the corresponding squares
on the sheet.
7. The first student to cross out all three squares in a row or column shouts ‘Bingo!’ and
wins the game.
8. To prolong the game and get more winners, you can have additional goals like being
the first to cross out the entire first row, being the first to cross out the entire second
row, being the first to cross out the entire third row and so on for the columns as well.
9. As students call out ‘Bingo!’, cross-check their sheets to see that they have crossed out
the correct numbers.
10. Follow the game with counting worksheets for additional practice.
