Please use the following labels when submitting forms and recommendations. While you will not be penalized in the admission process for not using
them, using these labels will help ensure accurate and timely sorting and processing of your documents. Failure to use these labels simply increases
the chances that the processing of your documents will be delayed.
If your college counselor or teacher/instructor is unable to submit these forms online, please attach the appropriate label to the envelope you provide
him/her along with these instructions. This will help ensure that the form is correctly sorted and processed.
You should always download any forms directly from the Common Application website after you log in to your Common Application account so that
your Common Application ID number appears at the bottom of each form you download. Your Common Application ID number must appear on every
document you submit to Stanford.
• Cut out the label on the dotted line and affix it to a 9 x 1 2 e n v e l op e ; add postage to envelope.
• Check Early Action or Regular Decision or Transfer as applicable.
