IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 49 (1) of the Environmental Quality Act 1974 [Act 127],
the Director General of Environmental Quality makes the following order:

Order 1. Citation

This order may be cited as the Environmental Quality (Delegation of Powers on Marine Pollution
Control) Order 1994.

Order 2. Delegation of powers to investigate certain offences.

The Director General of Environmental Quality hereby delegates his powers to investigate offences under
sections 27 and 29 of the Environmental Quality Act 1974 to any Police Officer commanding a vessel, or
appointed Police Officer, of the Royal Malaysia Police.
