LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson students will be able to:
1. Understand and implement fundamental techniques of throwing a disc
2. Demonstrate an understanding of a proper warm up/cool down including stretching
3. Observe and make adjustments in order to improve control and accuracy of throws
PROCEDURE
Introduction Time
Mr. Woolf is going to come in and teach some techniques and throws 10 min
for disc golf
Stretching
Warm up = Dynamic stretching

Body Time
Field 30 min
1. Students will head out to the football field to test throwing the
discs and get used to the various weights
2. Students will need to space out and throw one at a time to get
familiar with it
3. Safety = when students throw, they need to wait to get their disc
until everyone has thrown so no one gets hit
Practice 10
1. If time allows, students will have target practice with hula
hoops or small nets to aim with markers to start
2. Students will be paired up
3. Safety and spatial awareness
