This document compares specifications for cast steel gate valves, globe valves, and swing check valves from several manufacturers including Heaton, PK, Crane, Newco, Velan, Kitz, Jenkins, and Powell. It provides the model numbers for valves in Class 150, 300, and 600 from each manufacturer for the different valve types. While the valves may differ in details of their construction, the document asserts that they are equal or better in pressure and temperature ratings and suitable for the same service.

To the best of our knowledge the information contained herein is correct at
time of printing. The NH valves listed are the nearest equivalent to those of other manufactures. In terms of seating arrangements, stem styles, bonnet and end connections they do not have precisely the same specifications but are at least equal to or better in pressure and temperature ratings and are therefore suitable for the same service recommendations.
