Dear Parents,

This week we are starting our Guided Ideas to improve reading

Reading Lessons. In these lessons, students will skills at home:
be in small groups while they practice newly  Have your child read a book
learned reading skills with support from me. We that is brought from school
will read the book together as a group then each or a book of your child’s
student will read individually or to me. Each choice for 20 minutes each
student will learn to understand sounds and how day
they work together to form words. With  Talk about letters and sounds
mastering that, I hope they will then be able to as your child reads
comprehend what they are reading.  Encourage your child to read
what is around them
Listed are some extra resources and ideas
you can do with your child to reinforce their skills
at home. I am hoping every student is successful
in reading and can’t wait to see what each student Online resources:
