BCA T Tertiary Amine Epoxy Curing Agent

DESCRIPTION:
BCA T is a commercial grade of tris-(dimethylaminomethyl) phenol. BCA T is typically used to acceler-
ate the cure of amine or mercaptan based epoxy curing agent systems. The concentration BCA T
should be optimized for a given application, typical use levels range from 1-7 PHR for epoxy based sys-
tems. Excessive concentrations should be avoided as it will promote discoloration and embrittlement.
For mercaptan-based systems, a PHR of 12 is more typical.
