Hihingi sana me ng TRANSCRIPT ng Video niyo niyo, I’ll be using it para sa
subtitle . Hihi Thankyouuu Muapps gayahin niyo lang tong ginawa ko sa part ko .

Primary Materials and Apparatuses

The main materials used for this experiment was cement with the addition of fly ash and
preformed foam. Fly ash was an industrial waste from power plants while preformed foam was from a
liquid chemical diluted with water then aerated with forming agent. Weighing scale is also utilized to
ensure that the amount of these substances were controlled. Compression test machine was also
used to evaluate the static compressive strength of standard concrete and cellular lightweight
concrete.
Experimental Procedures

A comparison between the standard concrete and cellular lightweight concrete was done in
terms of their compressive strength and water absorption. Compressive strength test was conducted
because it is an effective way of measuring how much load a material can bear. In this experiment, it
is calculated with the formula, load at point failure divided by its cross sectional area. However, water
absorption test was also conducted to determine its durability and behavior during burning and
weathering. It is calculated through the formula, weight of the brick when wet minus its dry weight all
over its dry weigh times 100%

erron - Conclusion [ 1 minute ]

As our study reaches its end, we were able to draw the following conclusions: First is that
cellular lightweight concrete or CLCs can obtain higher compressive strength as more fly ash is mixed.
Second is that it also increases the water absorption of the concrete mix. Third is that through
adjustments of cement content and fly ash content , the pore size of the concrete decreases which
explains the increase in compressive strength. Fourth, the change of filler to fly ash greatly decreases
the concrete. Fifth and last is that CLCs are environment-friendly since it uses fly ash which also in turn,
lowers the overall construction costs
