Teletext is a mobile technology service that is administered by COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION LINK KENYA (CTLKENYA NGO), which
helps the pregnant mothers, Patients and those in critical conditions in urban and rural communities in Kenya Counties to get alerts and
reminders on there mobile phones.

What if there are no funds to implement the project.The organization is working on ways to partner with government and hospitals to sign up for
the project and provide fund for support of implementation.

About Project

Problem: What problem is this project trying to address?

The project is trying to address the health care issues and lack of communication for pregnant mothers especially in urban and rural slums in
Africa and Kenya.

The solution comes,When they attend the clinics they will be able to understand and get information on how placenta works, genetic factors, a
mum's health, age and lifestyle, and infection, which in turn will lead to safer and proper delivery.

Hundreds of mothers loose there babies during birth and the study has shown that these is lack of clinical visitation, which may be caused with
tiredness, forgetfulness, and loose of proper information.Teletext creates a different impact and links health workers and patients to get reminders
and alerts on there phones to avoid Absenteeism of health workers in the hospitals and clinics for them to attend to patients.Any patient who has
been registered under telext will receive a reminder informing him or her to attend the hospital and appointment for check up.

Impact: What is the impact of the work to date? Also describe the projected future impact for the coming years.

Currently the project has registered a group of 1000,Pregnant Women in 2 counties and has made arrangement of hospital visitation and sms
delivered.since we have 47 counties in Kenya and more than 100 Private hospitals and Clinics in Kenya,we are planning to roll out the first face
before August 2016 and these will include registration of patient and Pregnant women.The future plans is to reach all 47 counties and venture in
countries such as Sudan, Rwanda and South Africa.

Spread Strategies: Moving forward, what are the main strategies for scaling impact?

Currently we are doing registration in county hospital and also planning to recruit potential volunteers who will help us in Registration and survey in
Private hospital all over the country.Also we are working on government policies and registration that will help us move forward without any
government hindrance.

Sustainability

Financial Sustainability Plan: What is this solution’s plan to ensure financial sustainability?

The project requires financial and these money comes from the service offered by Teletext.As these patient receive SMS alersts and
reminders,the are change 5 kenya shilling per an SMS,the collected revenue is then send to the organization monthly for its running activities.

Marketplace: Who else is addressing the problem outlined here? How does the proposed project differ from these
approaches?

Currently we have never heard any competitor in the market here in Kenya,if we might,then we will improve our service delivery.The project is very
unique and it doesnt have competitors yet.

Founding Story

We are currently looking for any organization wishing to partner with us and provide either support in Funding or training for our volunteer staffs and
ideas on how we can help and work together in bring up change in the life's of entire communities in global world.We have not secured funds fron
any donor apart from our savings and family friends.

Having been born and raised in Kibera the largest slum in Kenya and Africa,where mothers die while giving births,or walk a long distance to the
hospital and eat bad food due to lack of proper information,i felt the urge to stand up as the young leader who can and is able to bring change in the
community of people life's not only in Kibra but entire Africa continent.By registering an organization and coming up with these project,many life's
of community especially mothers has been changed and transformed in a positive level.I therefore request you to consider my application in order
to attend the training,where i will be in a position to get enough skills ideas,and knowledge and come back home to transform more life's as a
younger leader. Most of my team are on voluteer basis and we a re a team of 5 young leaders who carry on the project on volunteer basis.
