new concept. When we started to develop the Ninjo
our objectives were clear. We wanted to create a caring
atmosphere in the sluice room, focusing on design, but
without compromising on performance. Our product
development process showed these objectives to be
completely achievable with the use of polymeric material.
The Ninjo concept includes a flusher disinfector, sluice
room furnishing, a brand new bedpan (developed on the
basis of our extensive expertise in nursing), and a new
rinse & de-liming agent, which is specially formulated to
optimize performance.

The Ninjo concept is a major contribution to one of our
most important missions, which is the fight against cross
infection. Nosocomial infections in the healthcare setting
are a huge problem. They can prolong the patient’s stay
in a facility, lead to serious illness and even death. These
infections and the associated costs can however, be

washing protocols and investment in modern sluice rooms

Effective disinfection of utensils depends on how well they are washed at
the start of the process. Ninjo is equipped with our 9+2 jet nozzle system
that gives excellent cleaning results by distributing water from nine fixed
and two rotating jet nozzles. The nozzles ensure optimal cleaning power
on all surfaces.

Pipe System Disinfection (PSD) – in every cycle

Safe and rapid thermal disinfection is achieved when the steam is
transported into the chamber through the piping and nozzle system.
Every angle of the utensil is covered. The unique advantage is that the
process gives the whole system, with all pipes and nozzles, a total
disinfection in every cycle – Pipe System Disinfection (PSD).

Easy to use – just load, close, press!

For the caregiver, Ninjo is extremely easy to use. Just place the goods
in the holder, close the door, and the utensils are automatically emptied.
Press the start button. After 3-7 minutes the utensils are cleaned,
disinfected and ready for re-use.

A solution for every sluice room

ARJO has many years experience in designing and fitting effective and
functional sluice rooms, and can help you to create your own. The
modular design of the matching Ninjo cabinets allows optimum use of all
available space. All units can be combined with each other individually.
This feature, together with the smooth, easy clean surfaces, promotes
safe and hygienic working practices.

The bedpan of the future

Traditional bedpans frequently have surfaces that are inaccessible for
effective cleaning or disinfection built in to their design. ARJO has
developed a unique, new shape of bedpan with anatomical design. The
polymeric material ensures a high level of comfort for the resident. It
also provides easy and safe handling for the nursing staff. The bedpan’s
design is integrated with the Ninjo flusher disinfector to ensure a perfect
cleaning result. To improve working conditions the bedpan is fitted with
a lid.
