This image represents Nike the famous apparel industry is vulnerable to implement corporate social
responsibility.
The industry in the mid 90’s has been accused to be labor intensive and operates in low wage
environment.
This picture indicates workers difficulty with the working conditions given by Nike.
Earlier Nike has also been accused of child labor, and thus it also portray age discrimination in a
organization.
Nike in 1970’s has been accused of using sweatshops to produce footwear and apparel.
As depicted in the picture, Nike used workers and provided them with very poor, socially
unacceptable or illegal working conditions. The work may be difficult, dangerous, climatically
challenging or underpaid.
Nike used workers to work for long hours with low pay, minimum wage, and child labor.
Nile provided miserable working conditions to the labors and they hardly monitor their working
conditions in factories that produce their products.
