6.1 TEST EQUIPMENT
The following test equipment is required to service the TMC470-series Controllers.

Digital Ohmmeter
Digital Voltmeter
Test Stand (P/N 22645) for testing the inputs and outputs of the controller. I/O power is derived from pulling +5VDC
from the TTL Input connector.
Test Stand (P/N 39938) can be used in place of a marking head. It contains Home limit signals as well as Interlock and
Sense signals. This test stand can be used as a burn-in station.
Test Stand (P/N 42473) for testing boards and controllers. It can be used with individual boards or entire controller
assemblies. The software will guide the user through the tests. This test stand can also be
used as a burn-in station after the tests are complete.

6.2 TOOLING
The following tools may be required to service the TMC470 Controllers.
Nut Driver, 3/16 in.
Nut Driver 7mm
Screw Driver, Phillips, #1 point
Screw Driver, Torque
Tip, Screw Driver, Torque, Phillips #1

6.3 CONSUMABLES
The following consumables may be required to service the TMC470-series Controllers.
Alcohol, isopropyl
Cloth, lint-free
Glue, Hot Melt (for ferrite)

6.4 FUSE DESIGNATIONS

Table 6-1 lists the fuses in the TMC470 Controllers.
