DC220&DC230 Burn Instructions

1. Preparation work:

1) USB to UART serial cable, specifications: USB to UART, 3.3V TTL level, can be chips
like PL2303, FT232, CH340, etc.

2) One network switch, the computer and the decoder are connected to the same
switch through the network cable.

3) A WIN10 PC,Turn off the firewall.

4) HITOOLS software installed on PC, choosing chip HI3535 (sent via Wetransfer).

5) Images file (sent via Wetransfer).

2. Prepare to burn:

1) USB port of the USB to UART inserted to computer, to check whether COM is
correctly identified and installed on PC device manager.

2) The other port is connected to below 3Pin port of the decoder board. 3Pin
specification is 1.25mm distance. The decoder is connected to the same switch as
computer through the network cable.
Note: Right now the decoder not connected with the power adapter.

3) Open HITOOLS software, choosing chip HI3535, choose HiBurn, then comes

burning interface. Choose the port displayed by Step 1,1；Transfer mode is

network. Click “Browse” to select the images file.

4) Select .XMLfile of Image files, and select all the files showed in the files.

3. Start to burn:
1) Click Burn, then click “OK” on the dialog box.

2) After click “Ok”, connecting the decoder to power adapter, Burn is starting.
Normally it takes 3-4 minutes according to network conditions, please kindly wait.
After Burn is successful, the success dialog box will pop up.
