This course aims to develop the knowledge, values, skills, and interest of
the learners about simple electrical gadgets. The concepts and skills that will be
developed along the way can be of great help to the learners because the
learning that will take place during the course of the study can help the learners
to hone their talents and develop their skills in the production of simple electrical
gadgets into a profitable source of income.
II. OBJECTIVES
IV. PRE-TEST
Ask the learners to use separate sheet of paper or quiz notebook for their
answers.
V. PARTS OF THE LESSON
A. KNOW
This part of the learner’s materials contains activities that will
activate prior knowledge of the learner; it elicits tentative
responses through provocative and critical questions essential to
the development of understanding.
Make sure learners are engaged in doing the given activities and
give assistance to the students when needed.
B. PROCESS
In this phase, learners are provided with various learning activities
that will require the learners to make sense of the information;
assess the learner’s skills; and questions that will enable learners
to construct their own meaning/understandings and express these
in their own way.
D. TRANSFER
In this part, learners are expected to transfer his/her learning
through a product or performance through the given various
activities provided in each lesson.
The learners will demonstrate the various competencies required
for each lesson.

Lesson 2 (DAY 2)
Simple electrical gadgets and their uses
B. Process Realia/pictures
Show a real extension cord, picture of a doorbell, plugs and
lampshades
Lesson 3 (DAY 3)
Steps in making simple electrical gadget (Extension Cord)
A. Know Use a jigsaw puzzle to recall the simple electric gadgets
discussed. Have each group arrange the puzzle to reveal the
image. Let the class identify whether the group’s answer is
correct or not.
electrical cord
male electric plug
screw drivers
Step 1
Step 2
Step 3
Step 4
Insert the wire into the male plug. Twist both ends of
the wire to keep the wires making contact with each
other. Tighten the screws down to hold the wires
securely.
Step 5
Put back the cover of the plug so the wire will not be
exposed which might cause electric shock.
Step 6
C. Reflect and What are the materials needed in making an extension cord?
Understand Do you think you can make one? Why?
Lesson 4 (DAY 4)
