failed to take part in the pre-science olympiad in the 2018 South

Sulawesi high school student festival
My purpose in writing this is to recall something I have experienced in a competition. this story
also gave me a valuable lesson in entering a race. in this story there is a sad and fun story.

In 2018, the South Sulawesi government held a high school student festival in South Sulawesi.
The festival competes various branches, both sports and academics. So, the student festival was
attended by almost all high school and equivalent schools in South Sulawesi. all schools sent their
representatives to participate in the various branches that were contested including my school, namely
SMA Negeri 7 Sinjai.

SMA Negeri 7 Sinjai participated in the academic branch, namely the science pre-Olympiad by
sending 4 school representatives. The four representatives were me for the astronomy subject, Siti
Nurfadilah for geography, Era Fazira for economics and Iwan for physics. with my election as the school's
representative made my heart very happy and determined to win and bring the good name of the
school. Therefore, I always study diligently and follow the guidance of the teacher.

Arrived at the time 1 day before the competition, we departed from school accompanied by the
principal and adriawan who were also the coaches of Iwan to go to Makassar. after arriving in Makassar
we stayed at one of the existing inns. Then the next day or on the day of the race we immediately get
ready to the place of the race.

After arriving at the competition site Iwan and Khusnul (representatives of Sinjai 13 Senior High
School) entered first because they got a turn for session 1 and the rest were sessions 2 and 3. It turned
out that after waiting for a long time, Iwan and Husnul could not participate in the competition because
of a technical error. so, that for the second version you have to wait a few minutes and then you can
enter the room. after a few minutes later I as session 2 was called in. but again the race could not be
done because something went wrong, and the science pre-olympic competition was officially
postponed. This made the participants, including me, disappointed. And we decided to go back to sinjai.

After one week later I got the news that his favorite day of the competition will be held in each
district, and for the Sinjai Regency it was held at SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai. this made us happy and the next
day we went back to take part in the race. All my friends were successful in the competition, but not for
me. I failed again for the second time participating in the competition because of a server error for
astronomy. This made me very disappointed and discouraged.

From this story, I learned that something we prepare well may not necessarily work according
to what we want. Besides that, before carrying out an activity we need to make really good
preparations so that it will not harm others.
