Direction: Identify the following as to hazard or risk. Write H for hazard and R for risk.

___R___ 1. Leaking gas

___H___ 2. Loose electrical outlet

___H___ 3. Wet floor

___R___ 4. Too much worries

___H___ 5. Coronavirus

___H___ 6. Chemicals

___R___ 7. Broken chair with nails

___R___ 8. Slips and fall

___H___ 9. Hot pot

___H___10. Awkward posture arising from improper work methods

Analyze your answers and check them after understanding the lesson.

D.

Discussing new concepts

E. Continuation of the discussion of new concepts
Direction: A. Answer the following questions. (Use separate sheet of paper if needed)

1. In which type of hazard can you classify coronavirus?

Answer: Biological Hazards

2. What is coronavirus?

Answer: coronaviruses are a type of virus. There are many different kinds, and some cause disease. A newly identified
coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2, has caused a worldwide pandemic of respiratory illness, called COVID-19.

3. How can you acquire coronavirus?

Direction: Arrange the jumbled letters to identify the word. If you are done with the arrangement,
write their uses/ function of each material.

EFAC KMSA 1. FACEMASK- mask is one of the prevention measures to limit spread of certain respiratory diseases

PASO 2. SOAP- used in a variety of cleansing and in killing bacteria

REAWT 3. WATER-used for direct and indirect purposes. Direct purposes include bathing, drinking, and cooking.

NABSI 4. BASIN-   is a container that holds water and is used for washing.
