Due to covid 19 the effects these characteristics could have on planning, delivery and assessments on my unit are that right now my classroom is via Zoom. I am teaching via
zoom every day from 8:00-2:00. The school I am working for is also in a hot spot so the numbers of covid cases right now in that area are to high. It is in a low poverty dlows
income community with more spanish speaking families than english speaking families.

In the Cartwright School District it has 97% minority enrollment. This means that the majority of children attending CSD is hispanaic. It also means that the majority of the
languages that are being spoken are english and spanish. This district is home to the largest hispanic communities. (CSD83.org)

 Discuss the possible effect these characteristics could have on planning, delivery, and assessment of your unit.
 Cite the references used for this information.
The effects it may have are having to translate all documents from english to spanish, so that parents can read and understand what is going on with their child's education. It
also means parent teacher conferences and meetings need to have translators available to translate what is being said in spanish.

It should have no effects on planning, delivery and assessments because I have worked at the school for almost 10 years. I know how the school is run, the population of the
children that attend the school and parents that are on campus from time to time. I also speak spanish so the language barrier will not effect me. The school has a percentage of
88% hispanic 7% African american and 3% of white. (Schooldigger.com)
