How important do you think being adept at adapting is for business firms? Explain.

As they said, "Change is the only permanent thing in the world”. So it means everything will change in
no time even for the business. They should learn to adapt and manage changes effectively for their
business to survive. If they do not adapt to their environment, the competitive edge they offer to their
customers would likely be gone. The importance of adapting to change in business should be noted by
owners. They should know what changes need to happen so that they can still provide a great
experience for their consumers.

Compare the opossum and turtle to the woolly mammoth and saber tooth tiger in terms of being
adept at adapting.

Opossum and turtle can live or survive in any climate. They eat a variety of foods, usually whatever is
available since they are omnivores. Opossum can live on either cold or warm weather. They can swim
and climb. Turtles are adapted in a number of specialized ways because of their habitats in oceans, seas,
brackish water or in estuaries of large rivers. Turtle adaptations are mostly physical parts of the turtle .If
they did not have these adaptations they could face extinction as woolly mammoth and saber tooth
tiger facing. It’s because they couldn’t adapt their environment or the climate change. Woolly
mammoths were herbivores, they only ate plants. More specifically, they were grazers and they ate just
grass. Woolly mammoth extinction due to warming climate, they just can live in cold climate. Same as
saber tooth tiger died out following climate change.

For this, you should adept at adapting for you to able to survive, while those that are unable to adapt
are more likely to perish and become extinct.

Edward Deming, a famous businessman, once said, in God we trust. All others bring data. What did
Deming mean in terms of developing a strategic plan?

We trust God for everything. God is the one and only can decide if we succeed our business or anything
for us. But having a data is so important for us to have ideas and help us to make decisions. It is the most
important thing in forming the Strategic plan. Without the data, it is not possible to draw conclusion and
make decision. Data can help us to build intuition that is also helpful for someone in business to create
smart and better strategies. Just because not everything can be explained and need reasons just to
prove you are doing right.
