Heat exchangers are the equipments that are used to transfer heat from one
place to another place due to the presence of temperature gradient.

There are many types of heat exchangers and this classification is on the basis of
their construction and working. Mainly we have two major types of heat
exchangers that are further classified that are

 Recuperative heat exchangers

 Regenerative heat exchangers
