Integrated Reporting Discussion
Integrated Reporting Discussion
inside the business. Integrated reporting (IR) is an essential tool in determining the internal and
external factors that affect the company’s overall performance. This tool can assess these
factors and can create opportunities for a competitive advantage against its competitors giving a
more strategic approach in the long run. Unlike other reports, integrated reporting focuses more
on connecting financial, social, governance inputs and performance. They aim for a more
transparent approach by involving employees, stakeholders and organizational members to
discuss how to achieve their goals. In this way, not only does the company reach its objectives,
but it also creates an impact towards business sustainability and the society.
