Abstract

In our everyday life we can see that a very few people have information
about the new schools or Universities, this is a result of the lack of
information sources. The sad thing is that even people from our university,
studying in this university don’t know the newest events happening within.
Our aim is to provide help to our students and inform them with the current
events happening in our university. We thought of publishing a monthly
school magazine named SEE University magazine which will contain the
newest events (information) happening that month. With this magazine
students will be able to express themselves, because they have the right of
writing interesting texts for the magazine which will entertain the reader. We
hope that this magazine will be read by every student and will be a helpful
guide to everyone.

Project Objective
Nowadays we can see that people don’t have any knowledge about things that are
outside their work. With this magazine it will be much easier to inform students
about our work, to let them know more about our University. This is in favor of our
students; they will be informed about the current events happening in the university,
with the work of the best students of our university and so on. It will be consisted of
many rubrics, including entertainment stuff. It will be a fun and different way of
learning the newest information about our University other than the internet or
advertising.

Significance and impact of the Project

This student magazine will result in a great impact as it will hold information for the
students themselves. We saw this magazine as a very significant job as we are
present in the everyday life in the University and we can see that the students are
not aware of what is happening in our building. This will be a very nice, easy and
practical way of informing.

The significance of the project is based in

School and college magazines are useful in many ways. They have a great educative
value. They encourage the students to think and write. So they develop their writing
skills and talent. They also develop their power of thinking and strengthen their
imagination. In this way the general knowledge of the students increases and they
acquire the habit of reading and writing. School and college magazines also teach
the students the value of co-operation and encourage healthy competition. They are
a source of self-help and self-confidence for students.

The impact
Students find real joy when they see their names published in the school and college
magazines, respectively. Besides, school and college magazines are interesting for
the ex-students of the school. They read articles and their memory of the past days
becomes fresh again. These magazines are a means of bringing the ex-students and
all the members of the school in touch with one another.

Research Methodology
Qualitative methodology will best suit our project because we want to know the
opinions of people, what do they think of such a magazine. We want our students to
be satisfied with our given information and for doing this qualitative work is needed.

Research Method
The use of questionnaires will be very helpful as they will contain close and opened
questions, there will be enough ways for people to express themselves. By this we
can gain information about whether people agree or disagree with us for publishing
such a magazine.

Budget
We had no need for purchasing any computer as we had our own personal
computers at home and renting wasn’t a problem also because we made our project
at each other’s home places.

Resources Cost

Paper and pens used for the project. 15$

Ink used by the printer for printing our 23$

information.

Transport from one place to another for 33$

collecting information.

Total 70$

Results
According to some of the information that we have gathered, students are agreeing
with us and they think that this is a very good source of informing. They think that
with this magazine they will know our University better and will be able to improve
their skills of writing by writing texts for our magazine.

 Conclusion and Future Work
Our conclusion for this magazine is that it will be a very good source of getting
information and it will provide help to those who don’t have much access with our
University. We will design the magazine as well as we can in order for it to be
attractive and also put interesting texts so it will be fun to read. So we hope that we
see this magazine in the hands of every student in our University and ad for our
future work, it all depends on the readers.
