Letter of consent to the participants

Dear participants,

Hi, we will be conducting an experiment for our psychology class and we ask you genuinely
to be a part of our experiment. We will be replicating the classic Bransford and Johnson
(1967) study. In our study, you will be listening to a pre-recorded passage, there are some
elements present in the passage and you will be asked to recall as many elements as
possible after listening to it. However, in condition 2 or 3 you will be provided with a context
before or after the passage.

If you agree to participate in this experiment, there are several things you should be aware
of:

● All data will be kept confidential and not be published publicly

● Participants will be anonymous
● You may decide to stop the experiment at any time as you please
● The more detailed information will be provided before the experiment and further
analysis will be available as an option if the participants are willing to know the
outcome
