Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering of IIMT College of

Engineering, Greater Noida, had organized online Five days FDP on “Recent Trends &
Innovation in Electronics Engineering” from 04th-08th Aug 2020.

Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering of IIMT College of

Engineering, Greater Noida, has established a virtual faculty training initiative on: “Recent
Trends & Innovation in Electronics Engineering”, with an objective of sharing and updating
of knowledge of the teachers. Faculty development Program was conducted as an online live
YouTube sessions which had over 20,000 views. FDP comprised a succession of lectures by
eminent speakers of International & National repute interacted with the audience and
shared their knowledge and experience. The program was a grand success with a total of
1100 plus candidates registered for the FDP from 12 countries and 21 states in India.

Sh. Manyank Agarwal, the M D of IIMT group of colleges, Greater Noida, is the torch bearer
for all such innovative programs! He has made it a mission to work zealously to the
progression and dissemination of scientific professional education throughout the country.
His excellent proficiency has stood test of time and assisted in cultivating an alliance with
colleague, students and other stake holders. He has garnered the Best Personality & Young
Entrepreneur Prize in Meerut and AIATF 2018 for Bravery.

Deputy Director Dr Sanjay Pachauri working as Professor and Head at Department of

Computer Science and Engineering, IIMT College of Engineering, Greater Noida and a
renowned academician. He obtained PGDITM, APGDCA, M.Sc. (Computer Science), M. Tech.
(computer Science), MBA (IT), MCP, MCSA, MCSE, and Ph.D. (Computer Science and
Engineering), throughout First class from Graduation onwards.

Dr Seema Nayak , as Professor and Head at Department Electronics & Communication

Engineering IIMT College of Engineering, Greater Noida, has done BE, M.Tech., Ph. D. and
has a vast experience in various capacities as an academician, and allied roles .

Considering the turmoil times in 2020 due to pandemic, IIMT Group of Colleges, Greater
Noida have been on the vanguard adapting measures which can help not only the students
but also the faculty in knowledge updation by various means. IIMT has tried for
#LearningUnlocked opportunities for faculty by means of online sessions. Under the
supervision of Managing Director Shri Mayank Agarwal , the IIMT College of Engineering,
Department Electronics & Communication had introduced a virtual FDP engagement
platform, ““Recent Trends & Innovation in Electronics Engineering”,.

FDP was open for the Faculty members of UGC / AICTE recognized Universities and
Engineering colleges all over India &the world in general, Research scholars and Industry
personals.

Eminent international & national credibility interlocutors have interacted with the viewer,
sharing their experience and knowledge.

Eminent speakers of International & National repute interacted with the audience and
shared their knowledge and experience. Some of the eminent resource persons were Mr.
Damodar Sahu, Wipro Limited, USA, Mr. Raja Dwibhashyam, California, USA, Dr. Vijyendra
Karpatne, California, USA, Ms. Akshi Sharma, Product Manager, Trapean Group, Canada, Dr.
Udai P Singh, Professor and Dean Research KIIT, Bhubaneshwar, Dr. Shamla Mantri, Asso.
Prof. (ECE) Dr. Vishwanath Karad, MIT World Peace Uni, Pune. The topics covered varied
from Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence, Engineering trends in Information
Technology, Cloud services and IT organizations, Technologies in near future.

On this occasion the Deputy Director Dr Sanjay Pachauri and HOD ECE Dr Seema Nayak
complimented the participants and the speakers for their association for full 5 days and
appreciated them for their inclination to learn new technologies. The organizers also
expressed their regards towards Mr. Mayank Agarwal, MD of IIMT Group for supporting this
event with all the resources that were needed. Candidates who attended this FDP expressed
that this FDP really turned out to be a boon for them the way all the speakers shared their
knowledge. The attendees were distributed e certificates for this FDP.
